When Ron Burgundy informed Veronica Corningstone that he was “kind of a big deal” (Anchorman, 2004), who knew a group of three-year-olds at the time would be able to relate so closely five years later?
Sure, the hockey-playing nine-year-olds who were attempting to make the cut for the Vancouver “Brick” Vipers in December of last year likely don’t possess the arrogance of Will Farrell’s character but, when tryouts are held at GM Place, it is “kind of a big deal.”
