We are based out of Langley but have boys from Burnaby, Richmond, Cloverdale and Chilliwack on the team as well. The boys are born in 2000 and competed in the Novice Major Division. The Challenge Cup is the largest, most competitive spring hockey tournament in Western Canada.
This is the first year and second tournament ever for our team. We placed 1st in our division in the round robin with a 5-4 OT loss against the Alberta Wolverines, an 11-0 win over the Kamloops Ice Pirates, and a 3-2 win over the Young Guns. We then went to elimination play where in the quarter-finals we beat the Jr. Eagles 7-0, then to the semis where we met the Young Guns again and beat them 5-4 in OT and finally we met the Vancouver Selects in the finals and beat them 3-0 to win the Cup
